I use my experience in the classroom to create teaching resources that you can use – right now – to impact your students. Every product in my store is designed to be easy to use and effective…because you don't have time for anything else.
“Weigle” is pronounced “why-gull.”
Betsy teaches a math problem-solving lesson
I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and subbed in rooms from kindergarten to 6th grade. I've also seen the support side as a school secretary as well as a K-6 math coach and intervention specialist. My time in administration has included both Ed Tech and specialist coordinator roles.
And the volunteer/mom/concerned parent angle? I've got that covered… my two boys are out of college, but I was there for them – in their classrooms – every step of the way.
Education and professional development
I hold a Masters in Elementary Education & Teacher Certification from Eastern Washington University and I have earned my National Board Certification.
I have attended the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teaching Academy for Science and Math, been a national finalist at the Microsoft Innovative Education Forum and been awarded an Enhancing Education through Technology Grant.
In addition to my teaching activities, these classroom teacher resources are based on my service as a district technology trainer and curriculum developer.
I love all of my kids…
… special-education students, talented and gifted, English language learners… every single one of them as individuals, no matter where they come from. Their success drives me, and inspires me to create teaching resources that are as effective as possible.
