Saying goodbye with fun and style!
Every year I encourage my students to be self-reflective about everything they have learned academically, emotionally and socially. I also encourage them to reflect on how much every student has grown over nine months.

To capture all of those warm-fuzzies, we create these Last Days of School Memory Books. Students love this activity and cherish the memories as they are writing them. It's a great community builder!
Fill up those final days
This packet is 24 pages covering nearly every aspect of the school year. It will take more than one day, so you could consider it to be a last-week-of-school activity rather than just something for the last day of school.
A few highlights:
- All about me
- Funny things
- Friends I made
- Things I studied
- Favorite stories
- Kids most likely to be…
- Classroom memories
- My future
- Word search (answer key included)
…and much more!
This activity pack is a great way to wrap up the year and keep students engaged during those last precious days, hours and minutes that seem to fly by. This isn’t just “busywork” because memory books last a lifetime. I still have my memory books from elementary school and that was almost forty years ago!
Your students will enjoy this activity and they will treasure it – as will their friends and families!
